Newborn Kamparmazi team (alias Ilze and Juris 🙂 ) today have participated in 12km Nordic walking race in Viljandi, Estonia. More than 400 have registered for the distance. Ilze came to the finish as the first in women competition and the fourth in overall competition. Juris was the fifth.

The weather was perfect. Although the cold wind in the morning it was warm enough at noon when the race started. Sun was shining all the time. The route was just as the years before – round the lake mostly on unpaved paths with a little uphill/downhill exercise.
After the crowdy first hundreds of meters we both managed to get into the leading group. Ilze had a good competition from Estonian girl Devi, she (Ilze 🙂 ) took the lead only after the five kilometers.
